Sneak Preview

 An appetiser

As promised, next week, I will be featuring an interview with someone more interesting than me.  In the meantime, here's a little look at one of the pieces I've been working on, which was inspired by this original painting.

I love free machine embroidery, so I transferred the basic colours and shapes on to some calico, and starting randomly stitching into it.

What do you think?

Interesting. What do you use to paint onto your fabric?

I've used anything and everything - watered down acrylic paint, Inktense blocks (my favourite), inks, watercolour paint. The one in the picture is ink.
